slider buns
½
pound thinly sliced cooked ham
12
slices Swiss cheese
¼
cup
mayonnaise
1
tablespoon
Dijon mustard
4
tablespoons
butter melted
1
tablespoon
minced onion
1
tablespoon
poppy seeds
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut slider buns in half and place bottoms in a baking dish.
Spread mayonnaise on buns and layer cheese, ham, and cheese.
Place bun tops on and mix butter, mustard, onion, and poppy seeds.
Brush glaze over sliders.
Cover and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 to 10 minutes more.
Notes
For extra flavor, brush a little extra butter mixture on the buns halfway through baking.
Covering the sliders first helps the cheese melt before the tops brown.
Let them rest a few minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
