Bat Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwiches
These bat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a fun Halloween twist on a classic snack. Made with just bread, peanut butter, jelly, and a bat-shaped cookie cutter, they’re quick, kid-friendly, and perfect for lunchboxes, parties, or after-school treats.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons peanut butter
- 4 tablespoons jelly
- 6 slices bread
- 1 teaspoon black sparkle gel
Instructions
- Make three peanut butter sandwiches by spreading peanut butter on half the bread slices and jelly on the other half. Put them together.
- Press a bat-shaped cookie cutter into each sandwich to cut out the bats.
- Add two dots of black sparkle gel for eyes.
Notes
- Different Bread – Try whole wheat, sourdough, or gluten-free bread. Darker breads like pumpernickel or rye give the bats the best look.
- Alternate Spreads – Swap peanut butter for almond butter, cashew butter, sunflower seed butter, or even Nutella.
- Change Up the Jelly – Grape, raspberry, or apricot jelly all work well. You could even use honey for a twist.
- Fun Decorations – Use candy eyes instead of sparkle gel, or dust with a little powdered sugar for a “ghostly” effect.
