Easy Garlic Butter Green Beans
These garlic green beans cook quickly and finish in a skillet with butter and garlic for an easy vegetable side dish. Ready in about 20 minutes and works well with weeknight dinners or holiday meals.

unsalted butter

minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the trimmed green beans and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until bright green and just tender.
Drain the beans and set them aside so they stop cooking.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Add the green beans to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper.
Toss the beans in the garlic butter and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until heated through and coated. Serve warm.
Notes
Blanching helps keep the beans bright and tender.
Cook the garlic briefly so it does not burn.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave.
