Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, combine the egg, almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Preheat your waffle maker according to its instructions.
Pour a small amount of batter onto the hot waffle maker and cook until golden brown.
Notes
Bonus Tip! Make waffle popsicles with them. Insert a stick while the batter is not fully cooked to ensure it is solid.
Add mini chocolate chips or fresh fruits to the batter to create different flavors.
Use food coloring to turn make colorful waffles.
Add your favorite toppings. Try adding in some fresh fruits to make a sweet and healthy breakfast.
