box green watermelon gelatin

box pink watermelon gelatin
(3.94 oz)

boiling water, divided

whipped topping, thawed
Mini chocolate chips for topping
Pink and green food coloring
Gummi watermelon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Bake the cake according to package directions in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Let the cake cool slightly, then poke holes across the top.
Mix the pink and green gelatin separately, then slowly pour them into different holes throughout the cake.
Refrigerate until fully chilled.
Color the whipped topping pink and green, then spread over the cake. Use pink for the center and green around the outside.
Scatter mini chocolate chips over the top before serving. Add gummy watermelon candies if using.
