Easy Egg Roll in Bowl

Cook the pork. Cook the pork in the skillet until it is done. There should be no pink. When the pork is done cooking, drain the excess grease. Add the pork back to the skillet.

Add in veggies and seasonings: Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, garlic powder, sesame oil, ginger, and green onions. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste, and cook, stirring frequently, until the cabbage wilts and the carrot softens, about 4-5 minutes

Add rice vinegar and coconut aminos and stir to combine. Cook for another 1-2 minutes or until heated through.

Remove from heat: Serve in a bowl or serving dish. Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds for even more crunch!

Tips & Notes

  • Make sure the cabbage and shredded carrots are cooked thoroughly. You want them to soften up a little.
  • If you are shredding the carrots, make sure they are finely shredded so that they cook evenly and quickly.
  • You can save time by purchases pre shredded or pre cut ingredients from your local grocery store.

Substitutions & Variations

  • Swap the ground pork: If you don’t want to use ground pork, you can use ground turkey or beef. The flavor will change a little.
  • Add Egg: You can add scrambled eggs if you’d like.
  • Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds: This will give the dish some extra crunch.
