  • Vanilla wafer cookies
  • White candy melts
  • Red sugar crystals
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Red M&Ms

How To Make Vanilla Wafer Santa Treats

  1. Melt the candy melts like directed by the package instructions.
  2. Dip each wafer cookie in the melted candy to fully coat them, remove with a fork, and place them on parchment paper.
  3. Immediate sprinkle red sugar crystals on the top and add a mini marshmallow onto to make Santa’s hat.
  4. Add two mini chocolate chips for Santa’s eyes and add one red M&M for his nose.
  5. Let the cookies sit on the parchment paper until they dry completely.

  • Dipping the wafers: Sink the wafers into the melted chocolate and use a fork to remove them. Tap the excess chocolate off before placing the coated wagers on the parchment paper.
  • The melted candy will start to dry quickly so be sure to try and add the sugar crystals, marshmallows, M&M’s, and mini chocolate chips as fast as you can.

Substitutions & Variations for Vanilla Wafer Santa Cookies

  • Sugar Crystals: Instead of using red crystals you can use any other color. You can also use sprinkles if you want.
  • Candy Melts: If you want to use chocolate candy melts, you can. The process stays the same but it will add some extra flavor to the cookies.
