- Ground beef – We use 90/10 so it’s less grease and fat. You can use whatever you prefer.
- Cheese – Your favorite taco cheese. We use taco choose but colby jack or cheddar would be great too.
- Taco seasoning – Make your own homemade seasoning or store bought.

Substitutions & Variations
- For the taco seasoning, you can use your own homemade blend or store bought. Whichever you prefer.
- Ground turkey can be substituted for ground beef.
- Add your favorite taco toppings to the sliders. I recommend adding them after they have cooled down so the toppings are fresh.
- Sliced cheese instead of shredded can be used. It may take a bit more time to melt the cheese.
How To Make Taco Sliders with Hawaiian Rolls

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise to create a set of top and bottom buns. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onions until cooked through and crumbled.
- Add the taco seasoning and water and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer until the sauce has thickened, stirring often.
- Place the bottom set of rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the ground beef mixture in an even layer over the top of the buns.
- Spread the taco sauce over the top of the ground beef.
- Top with shredded cheese.

- Place the top buns on the pan next to the bottom buns and brush with butter. Sprinkle extra taco seasoning over the top of the buns.
- Place the pan in the oven to bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted.
